For more than fourty years, PT. Meiji Indonesia has been manufacturing high quality pharmaceutical products in Indonesia. As one of the pioneers in antibiotics and other pharmaceutical product manufacturer, we have helped millions of people and medical professions wtih our excellent products and utmost dedication.

For more than five years, we have been supplying major international pharmaceutical companies in Japan and other leading pharmaceutical manufactures in Singapore and Malaysia. This trust is gained through performance as we are equipped with facilities of international standards.

Milestones
1970's
1971
  • Meiji products were first available in Indonesia.
1974
  • The joint venture P.T. Meiji Indonesian Pharmaceutical Industries is established with Beta-Lactam and non Beta-Lactam facilities.
1975
  • Commercial production began. The company's first product was "Streptomycin Sulfate 5gr".
1980's
1982
  • Beta-Lactam 1 was built. Beta-Lactam and non Beta-Lactam buildings were separated to comply with the regulations.
  • The company opened its Employee Welfare Center that consist of a library, canteen, health clinic and praying facilities.
1983
  • Meiji Seika Kaisha Japan trusted PT. Meiji Indonesia to produce raw materials of "Kanamycin Sulfate" on its own.
1990's
1991
  • The company started to procedure raw materials of "Ampicillin Sodium" on its own.
1994
  • The company was awarded GMP certificate for all product categories by the Indonesian Government (BPOM).
1997
  • Beta-Lactam 2 factory was built.
2000's
2001
  • Beta-Lactam 3 factory was built.
2007
  • The company was awarded GMP certificate by the Japanese Government.
2009
  • Awarded by Meiji Japan for the success of obtaining the highest business performance among Meiji Group.
2010's
2010
  • API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) production facilities are built.
